The Arribes del Duero, located in the province of Salamanca, is part of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, an impressive natural area characterised by its deep river canyons carved by the rivers Duero and Agueda.
The area is renowned for its biodiversity, including a wide variety of birds of prey, and for its agricultural and wine-making traditions, which are still preserved in the surrounding villages.
Local products, such as wine, cheese and olive oil, are renowned for their quality. In addition, the region is home to numerous viewpoints offering spectacular views and trails that allow you to explore its rich biodiversity and history.
This tour offers a complete overview of the Arribes del Duero with a perfect combination of nature, culture and gastronomy.
The tour will start with a visit to Fermoselle, considered the “Gateway to the Arribes”, where we will visit the Arribes del Duero Natural Park Interpretation Centre, where we will be given an introduction to the area and all its aspects.
We will continue with a route through the viewpoints, with stops at the Mirador de Las Escaleras and the Mirador de El Fraile.
After the descent, we will continue the route at the Vega Terrón dock, where we will start the river cruise along the Duero River. This will provide a different perspective to admire the canyons and observe the local fauna and flora. Finally, we will go up to the Picón de Felipe viewpoint in Aldeadávila de la Ribera, to say goodbye to Las Arribes del Duero with one of the most impressive views.
