The region is famous for its festivities, traditional half-timbered and stone architecture, and its rich gastronomy which includes dishes such as roast kid and local sausages. The villages of the Sierra de Francia, such as La Alberca and Mogarraz, are exceptional examples of heritage conservation and have been recognised as Conjuntos Hist\u00f3ricos.<\/p>\n

The tour will begin with a walk through La Alberca, where we will explore its cobbled streets, and visit the Plaza Mayor and the Ethnographic Museum. The tour will continue to Mogarraz to admire the portraits on the facades of the houses and visit the Church of Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de las Nieves. <\/p>\n
Afterwards, we will climb the Pe\u00f1a de Francia to enjoy the panoramic views from the sanctuary. Later, we will visit Miranda del Casta\u00f1ar, to walk around the walled enclosure and visit the castle and the local church.
